| Backpack Trip: Raccoon Creek State Park |
| Date: November 7-8, 2009 |
| Depart: Saturday at 11:00 AM from ACDC parking lot.

| Return: Sunday approx 2:00 PM at ACDC parking lot. Will pass around cell phones when we are 1 hr. away.
|
| Fee: $4.00 per person (pay directly to Randy Smith)
|
| Due Date: No later than the Oct 12 Troop Meeting (form & payment)

Activity:
Saturday morning: 2.5-3 miles into Pioneer shelter area.
Saturday afternoon: backpacking skills activities.
Sunday morning: 2.5-3 miles back to Park Office parking lot.

| Meals: Bring/cook your own backpacking meals. If you have a lightweight backpacking stove, bring it. We need to have 1 stove per 4 backpackers.
|
Shelter: 3 options.
Bring a personal lightweight backpacking tent.
Carry & share a Troop tent, with another Scout.
Sleep in the backpacking shelter.
